Online dating sometimes gets a lot of flack for not being able to predict real life chemistry between two potential matches. Obviously, using a site to find sex does come with it’s own pros and cons, and not everyone you meet will have that certain something that drives you wild in the sack.

So the debate between sexual chemistry and compatibility rages on. Is it okay if you have nothing to say over dinner but literally break the bed during sex? Or you can talk until your head falls off but just can’t seem to make it click in sack? What’s better?

In the case of hooking up, we’d definitely say that chemistry is king. If someone is sexy and their not very gripping to talk too, then oh well. You can still bang them and have a great time. Intelligence doesn’t really matter in the sack as long as you can lead the scene.

In the case of seeking a relationship, you might want to seek that perfect balance between compatibility and fireworks in the bedroom. Compatibility is more suggestive of a deep emotional bond. At the end of the day, you are friends who love, respect and appreciate one another. This can make sex more mind blowing and intimate over time, but if there is a slight hint of sexual chemistry in the beginning, it’s a good indicator of success in the future.

A personal can only say so much about a person, and it will definitely enable you to estimate your compatibility. However, the chemistry part will only come when you meet in person. It’s something intuitive you can only sense in real life.
